Hogan and Luther
This painting was a commission won at the 2005 Bark and Whine auction, benefiting Lollypop Farm (Humane Society of Western New York). The Wheeler's selected this pose for their beloved companions, Hogan (reclining) and Luther, from three preliminary sketches. They tell me they love the "Rembrandt" lighting.
